Booksy Block 2: 16-Patch Checkerboard

We are officially on to month 2 of the Booksy Block Project! I have had SO MUCH FUN seeing what you guys are reading and how you're using your stash to sew your blocks. I try to post every single block you make to my Instagram stories for everyone to see and enjoy; so please remember to tag me @ritualquiltcompany if you'd like to share yours publicly!

As a reminder, you are totally free to sew any block that you like. You can use the free ones that I provide here or other ones! This project is meant to be a way to foster community among quilters with a common interest, and there aren't any rules. 

Here is my first block for February... Both fabrics were from my stash and both are Cotton + Steel. The lighter one has little hot pink specks, although that didn't show up in the photo very well! 

This book, Someone In The Attic, gave me a major case of the creeps, but the storyline turned out to be much more interesting and entertaining than I had originally anticipated.
